Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile Social Media Video & Graphic Content Editor to manage visual asset creation across all our social media channels. You will transform raw footage and ideas into high-performing short-form videos, long-form content, and static graphics. The ideal candidate understands how content formats differ between platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and knows how to optimize assets for maximum reach and engagement.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Video Production: Edit dynamic short-form videos (Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts) and traditional landscape videos.
- Graphic Design: Create promotional posters, Facebook ad creatives, LinkedIn carousels, and eye-catching YouTube thumbnails.
- Platform Optimization: Format, resize, and tailor a single content piece into multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9) to fit specific platform specifications.
- Engagement Optimization: Implement high-retention hooks, trending audio, dynamic subtitles, and platform-specific visual assets (stickers, text overlays).
- Asset Management: Organise raw footage, templates, and final exports systematically for streamlined publishing workflows.
🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications
- Video Software: Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.
- Design Software: High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva Pro.
- Platform Expertise: Proven understanding of what drives engagement across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and professional networks.
- Typography & Layout: Strong eye for cross-platform typography, visual hierarchy, and brand-aligned color palettes.
- Self-Direction: Ability to interpret a creative brief and work independently under tight content calendars.
