Role Description The Junior Import Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves coordinating day-to-day import operations, including preparing and verifying shipping documents, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely customs clearance in compliance with relevant regulations. The Junior Import Executive will communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, manage delivery schedules, and maintain accurate records of import activities. Responsibilities also include supporting basic export-related tasks when needed, responding to internal and external inquiries, and assisting in process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost control. The role requires close collaboration with the logistics, finance, and customer service teams to ensure smooth and reliable supply of products.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of Import and Import Logistics, including documentation, customs processes, and shipment tracking.
• Basic understanding of Export procedures and willingness to support export-related activities as required.
• Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail with good numerical skills for checking invoices, duties, and freight costs.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP or logistics management systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage time effectively, and handle multiple shipments and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in import/export, logistics, or supply chain will be considered an asset.
• Experience in Chemical Imports.
