Job Description: Marketing Analytics & Data Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Marketing Intern to join our team. In this role, you will focus on database management, market research, and data visualization. Your primary responsibility will be to extract raw market data, clean it, and transform it into clear, visual charts and graphs that help our marketing and sales teams make smart business decisions.

This is a remote internship operating on an afternoon-to-evening shift to support our data requirements across multiple time zones.

• Position: Marketing Intern (Data & Analytics)
• Duration: 3 to 6 months (with potential for full-time conversion based on performance)
• Shift Timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Stipend: ₹10,000 per month

Core Roles & Responsibilities

1. Database Fetching & Research

• Data Extraction: Use lead generation tools, online directories, and internal software to fetch, scrape, and compile raw market data.
• Database Maintenance: Organize, clean, and update large customer and prospect databases, removing duplicates and errors.

2. Advanced Excel Operations

• Data Processing: Handle and sort large sheets of data using advanced formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.
• Data Organization: Structure messy, raw data inputs into clean, standardized, and easily searchable Excel sheets.

3. Data Visualization & Graphing

• Turn Data into Graphs: Transform complex, dry numbers into clear, visually appealing charts, graphs, and dashboards.
• Trend Identification: Highlight patterns, anomalies, and key growth trends hidden within the datasets.

4. Articulating Data & Insights

• Summarize Findings: Translate technical charts into plain, simple English explanations for the marketing and sales teams.
• Reporting: Prepare short, easy-to-read daily or weekly summary reports explaining what the data means.

Key Skills Required

• Excel Mastery: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, data cleaning, and chart creation).
• Analytical Mindset: A strong ability to look at numbers, draw logical conclusions, and organize unstructured information.
• Data Visualization: Skill in selecting the right type of graph (bar, line, pie, etc.) to clearly display different data types.
• Communication: Good written communication skills to clearly articulate and explain data insights to the team.
• Time Management: Ability to manage deadlines and work independently during the 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 – ₹10,000.00 per month
