Role Description The Desktop Support Engineer – System Support Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. In this position, you will provide day-to-day technical support for desktop computers, laptops, operating systems, and standard office applications, ensuring minimal downtime for team members. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, configure and maintain user systems, and assist with printer setup, connectivity, and ongoing printer support. The role includes responding to support tickets, documenting resolutions, performing routine maintenance checks, and escalating complex issues when necessary. You will collaborate closely with IT and operations teams to maintain a stable and secure workplace technology environment.
Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with desktop computers and computer hardware, including installation, configuration, and basic upgrades.
• Proven technical support and troubleshooting skills for Windows/macOS systems, common office applications, and end-user issues.
• Experience with printer support, including setup, network connectivity, driver installation, and routine maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems efficiently, with clear documentation of steps taken.
• Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support users at different technical levels.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools, basic networking (LAN/Wi-Fi), and security best practices is an advantage.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma/degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
