Bookkeeper (Remote, IN) Full Time NEW

We are looking for an external Bookkeeper to maintain our client’s financial records, including bank transactions, VAT and UK payroll.

On a typical day as a Bookkeeper, you will:

• General bookkeeping for our external accounting clients including bank reconciliations
• Quarterly VAT preparation and filing
• Monthly PAYE preparation and filing
• Workplace pension preparation and filing
• Xero and QuickBooks experience is required along with exposure to other online accounting packages
• Ongoing support and guidance to clients
• Talk to clients and work with individuals within their business

Desired profile

• At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• Client management skills
• Excellent English communication skills with both clients and co-workers
• Ability to prioritize a busy workload and meet challenging deadlines
• A thorough, methodical approach
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Good IT skills, particularly in the use of online accounting software
• Hands-on experience with UK payroll, including PAYE processing
• The ability to work as part of a team
