Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Duty Medical Officer to provide round-the-clock medical care and support in a hospital setting. The candidate will be responsible for handling patient care, emergencies, and coordinating with consultants to ensure smooth clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical care and attend to patients in OPD/IPD and emergency cases
- Perform initial assessment, diagnosis, and stabilization of patients
- Coordinate with consultants and follow treatment protocols
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Handle medical emergencies efficiently
- Ensure proper documentation, case sheets, and discharge summaries
- Support clinical procedures and assist senior doctors when required
- Adhere to hospital policies and clinical guidelines
Eligibility Criteria
- MBBS Graduate from a recognized institution
- 0–2 years of clinical experience (Freshers can also apply)
- TNMC Registration is mandatory (grace period of 2 months will be provided)
- Good clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates from Chengalpattu, Tambaram, or nearby locations
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts (6 hrs / 12 hrs)
- Immediate joiners or short notice candidates preferred
