Key Responsibilities

Indirect Taxes – Expertise and Hands-on Experience

• GST Return Filing: Proficient in preparation and filing of Goods & Services Tax returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6 (ISD), ITC-04, GSTR-7, along with revenue reconciliation and ITC matching (Books vs Portal GSTR-2B).
• Compliance of GSTR -9/9C including the reconciliation associated with these returns
• GST Refunds: Filing of GST refund applications for exports of goods/services and IDS (Inverted Duty Structure), including liaison with GST authorities and handling departmental queries.
• Cross Charge Management: Understanding of R&D cross charge processes under GST framework.
• Input Tax Credit (ITC): Strong domain knowledge of ITC eligibility criteria and compliance under GST law.
• Audit & Departmental Correspondence: Skilled in handling GST audits, preparing and filing responses to departmental inquiries at HO and plant locations. Should possess good drafting skills for replies to notices, letters, and other communications.

Data Compilation & Reconciliation: Expertise in data collation, reconciliation, and preparation of workings for consultants to respond to Show Cause Notices (SCN) and other departmental requirements.

Educational Qualification :

• M.Com

Experience

Tenure : Good spoken and written English, particularly for drafting formal replies, letters, and representations to tax authorities and other stakeholders.

• Should have exposure of working in Manufacturing Industry.
• Well-versed in SAP-HANA(Mandatory) , MS office
