About The Role & Team

SITA India is on the lookout for recent graduates to join our SkyStar Program within the Procurement function, initially for a 12-month period, with the potential for a permanent role.

Role

Your main tasks will involve supporting the manufacturing procurement and the sourcing specialists and provide supporting data and MI to create more informed procurements as well as play a hands-on role in direct sourcing activity, obtaining quotes, supporting RFx`s and E Sourcing initiatives, providing assistance under supervision of the Manufacturing Procurement lead, and ensuring the smooth operation of procurement. What You’ll Do

• Support Operative Project Procurement by assisting in day‑to‑day purchasing activities for ongoing projects, including data preparation, order follow‑up, supplier coordination, and documentation management
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure materials and services are procured in line with project timelines, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers on project‑critical deliveries, order confirmations, documentation requests, and issue resolution to support smooth project execution.
• Support procurement transformation initiatives, contributing to process improvements, digital tools adoption, standardization, and increased operational efficiency within the Procurement team.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, documentation standards, and approval workflows while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a dynamic team environment
• High level of motivation, curiosity, and willingness to take initiative
• Basic understanding of procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of e‑sourcing tools or ERP platforms

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
