About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, creative, and execution-focused Content Strategist to lead social media content and creative direction for North American (US & Canada) audiences.

This is a hands-on role where you will own the full content lifecycle, from ideation and scripting to publishing and optimization. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we show up online, with a strong focus on high-performing social media content and ad creative strategy.

Key Responsibilities Social Media & Creative Strategy (70%)

• Plan, create, and manage content calendars across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Meta
• Develop engaging short-form video concepts, hooks, and scripts (Reels, Shorts, etc.)
• Write compelling captions and post copy tailored to North American audiences
• Recommend and refine ad creative angles, hooks, and messaging for paid campaigns
• Collaborate with video editors and designers to bring content ideas to life
• Manage scheduling and publishing via tools like Hootsuite, OneUp, and Meta Business Suite
• Analyze performance and iterate on content strategies to improve engagement and conversions
• Stay on top of social media trends and adapt content styles accordingly
• Contribute to content for podcasts, testimonials, and other multimedia formats

Website & Landing Page Content (30%)

• Write and optimize website content, landing pages, and conversion-focused copy
• Support campaign managers with ad-aligned landing page messaging
• Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and brand voice across all digital touchpoints
• Apply basic SEO and CRO principles to improve performance

What You’ll Work On

• Instagram Reels & short-form video scripts
• Social media calendars and daily posting
• Paid ad creative strategy (hooks, angles, messaging)
• Website and landing page copy
• Client-facing brand messaging (B2B & B2C)
• Podcast and testimonial content

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in content strategy, social media, or digital marketing
• Strong understanding of what works for US & Canada audiences (tone, humor, hooks, trends)
• Proven ability to create engaging short-form content that drives attention and action
• Excellent writing skills (social media, scripts, and web copy)
• Hands-on experience managing and scheduling content across platforms
• Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite, OneUp, Meta Business Suite
• Understanding of ad creative strategy (Meta ads, hooks, messaging, variations)
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a remote environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects

Nice to Have

• Prior work experience with Canadian or US-based brands
• Exposure to B2B marketing (industrial/manufacturing is a plus)
• Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and optimization
• Basic understanding of SEO and conversion rate optimization
