Job Title: Agriculture Officer- Agarwood Cluster Development

Department: Agribusiness / Rural Development

Location: Assam & Tripura

Reporting To: Project Manager / Program Head

Job Summary

We are seeking a competent and field-oriented professional to work as a CBBO/Project Executive for Agarwood Cluster Development and FPO Formation. The role involves conducting diagnostic studies, mobilizing farmers, supporting Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) formation, and implementing project activities as per guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Agarwood Diagnostic Study in assigned clusters

Identify potential areas and stakeholders for cluster development

Mobilize farmers and support in FPO formation and strengthening

Work closely with local communities, government bodies, and stakeholders

Prepare field reports, feasibility studies, and documentation

Ensure compliance with project guidelines and financial norms (PM-DevINE scheme)

Assist in implementation of cluster-based business activities

Support in data collection, monitoring, and evaluation

Coordinate with higher management for project progress and reporting

Key Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of agriculture / horticulture / agarwood cultivation

Strong fieldwork and community mobilization skills

Good communication and reporting ability

Understanding of FPOs and rural development programs

Basic knowledge of project management and documentation

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Rural Development, or related field

3-5 years of experience in agribusiness / FPO / cluster development projects

Freshers with relevant academic background may also apply

Other Requirements

Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas

Ability to work in multi-stakeholder environment

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, reporting tools)

Employment Type: Project-Based (as per empanelment terms)

Pay: ₹25,662.97 – ₹34,775.85 per month
