Summary:

As an Application Designer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs, translating these into detailed application designs. The role requires continuous interaction with various teams to ensure that the application architecture aligns with business processes and technical requirements. Throughout the day, the Application Designer evaluates design options, refines application workflows, and supports the development team by providing clear guidance and documentation. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on creating scalable, efficient solutions that support organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the design and development of application components ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate communication between business analysts, developers, and quality assurance teams to maintain project coherence.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to improve application design and performance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Natural.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Cobol Mainframe.
• Strong understanding of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical specifications.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting application issues to ensure optimal performance.
