This Position reports to:

Accounting & Reporting Manager – General

Subject Matter Expert – BRS or Bank Accounting

Your Responsibilities

• Possess strong knowledge of bank accounting processes, including IHB and intergroup transactions
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in AP, AR, GA, and IG teams to resolve queries effectively.
• Liaise with FAO country teams to obtain accounting details for bank transactions related to both IHB and external banks.
• Review and approve bank accounting journal entries prepared by team members through Trintech tool.
• Ensure there are no intergroup mismatches or FX revaluation issues during month-end close across all entities.
• Provide ongoing training to team members and address their queries on a daily basis.
• Review and approve reconciliations of bank GLs, GA transitory GLs, and other accounts performed by team members in Trintech.
• Ensure timely clearance of all GA transitory GLs monthly.
• Conduct process walkthroughs for internal and external audits and provide supporting documentation for selected samples.
• Ensure no deficiencies are recorded in the GRCM tool for internal controls such as FX upload, verification, and bank reconciliation.
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with business controllers.

Your background

• MBA or M. Com or bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 10 to 12 years of experience in Treasury accounting or BRS or Bank accounting.
• Must be flexible in working for any shift timings.
• Strong communication skills; polite and patient in interactions with stakeholders.
• Confident and assertive communication abilities.
• SAP Experience mandatory
• Proficient in MS Office, working knowledge of SAP, Trintech, and hands on experience in GCM, IHB, RITA, Intercompany netting settlement
