Role/ Job Title: National Sales Head – Trade (Commercial Banking)

Function/ Department: Transaction Banking-Trade

Job Purpose

This role will lead the Trade Sales business for mid-corporate & pure liability clients and will be responsible for developing, structuring and customizing trade finance, trade services and Anchor Supply Chain financing products and services to provide solutions to clients across the Bank. This role entails P&L responsibility.

This role cuts across all verticals of the Bank for Trade & SCF (Anchor) products.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic plan discussion for Trade sales at National level, including annual planning & budgeting, and analysis of customer & product profitability.
• Enable front-end sales team for customer pitches, client business understanding, transaction structuring and delivering solutions as per client requirements.
• Enable front-end sales teams for strategy to source new clients, deepen relationship, manage risk and ensure controls are in place.
• Mentor and coach team members to percolate ethos of customer centricity, innovation, compliance and integrity
• Create environments for constant innovation and sharing of ideas bottom up to serve the customer’s needs holistically
• Demonstrated experience in delivering major business process reengineering projects
• Strong understanding of Trade & Supply Chain Finance products
• Strong understanding of Trade remittances & structured products
• Build on understanding of APIs (application programming interfaces) to expand banks’ strong connections with the ecosystem
• Exceptional planning, organizing skills and innovation orientation to disrupt the market
• Assertive with strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and all levels of hierarchy
• Promote and demonstrate active avenues of collaboration across departments and all levels of hierarchy
• Conflict Management; Influencing skills; leadership skills to lead a large team

Graduation: Any graduate

Post Graduation- Any post graduate

Experience: 15 + years of relevant experience in Trade Sales.
