Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and commercially sharp Business Development Executive to manage and grow our B2B customer base in the US market.

This is a revenue-focused role with end-to-end ownership of sales opportunities from converting qualified leads into RFQs to closing deals and building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage customer accounts and sales opportunities end-to-end
• Act as the primary point of contact for US-based clients
• Convert leads into RFQs and structured business opportunities
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into actionable proposals
• Collaborate with internal teams for feasibility, costing, and execution
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and commercial recommendations
• Lead pricing discussions and negotiations while protecting margins
• Drive consistent follow-ups to ensure timely closure of opportunities
• Build long-term relationships to drive repeat business and account growth
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and CRM updates (Odoo)
• Ensure smooth handover to operations while maintaining customer communication

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or revenue-facing roles
• Proven experience in client handling, negotiations, and deal closures
• Strong communication and commercial understanding
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities with a high level of ownership
• Comfortable working in the US time zone (5:00 PM – 2:30 AM IST)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with international clients, especially in the US market
• Exposure to manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, or export sales
• Experience with RFQs, pricing, and commercial negotiations
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Odoo, Salesforce, or HubSpot
• Basic understanding of supply chain or product development processes
