Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and commercially sharp Business Development Executive to manage and grow our B2B customer base in the US market.
This is a revenue-focused role with end-to-end ownership of sales opportunities from converting qualified leads into RFQs to closing deals and building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage customer accounts and sales opportunities end-to-end
- Act as the primary point of contact for US-based clients
- Convert leads into RFQs and structured business opportunities
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into actionable proposals
- Collaborate with internal teams for feasibility, costing, and execution
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and commercial recommendations
- Lead pricing discussions and negotiations while protecting margins
- Drive consistent follow-ups to ensure timely closure of opportunities
- Build long-term relationships to drive repeat business and account growth
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and CRM updates (Odoo)
- Ensure smooth handover to operations while maintaining customer communication
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or revenue-facing roles
- Proven experience in client handling, negotiations, and deal closures
- Strong communication and commercial understanding
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities with a high level of ownership
- Comfortable working in the US time zone (5:00 PM – 2:30 AM IST)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international clients, especially in the US market
- Exposure to manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, or export sales
- Experience with RFQs, pricing, and commercial negotiations
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Odoo, Salesforce, or HubSpot
- Basic understanding of supply chain or product development processes
