Context:
Ensure delivery of the agreed global transition strategy across logistics processes in line with defined targets, timelines, and governance standards. Focus on execution of transition pipeline through structured methodology and stakeholder alignment.
Purpose
Drive execution of logistics transitions from global agencies into GBS by ensuring accurate opportunity assessment, structured process design, and seamless implementation within agreed timelines and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
· Drive execution of the agreed transition strategy across logistics products (Air & Ocean, Ground, Rail, Contract Logistics, FVL)
· Deliver transition pipeline in line with defined headcount, timeline, and scope targets
· Ensure accurate Opportunity Assessment through structured Process Design workshops with business stakeholders
· Validate scope, volumes, dependencies, and feasibility prior to transition sign-off
· Ensure readiness for implementation through robust planning and governance
· Drive adherence to defined transition framework and methodology across all programs
· Ensure effective knowledge transfer, migration planning, and go-live execution
· Monitor transition progress and ensure timely delivery within agreed milestones
· Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and gaps impacting transition timelines
· Drive stakeholder alignment across Global, Regional, and Station teams to secure transition approvals
· Push for increased GBS penetration across logistics processes by leveraging GBS capabilities and scale
· Ensure optimal utilization of transition resources across pipeline delivery
· Maintain visibility on transition pipeline, progress, and delivery status through structured reporting
· Guide and support the transition team to ensure consistency in execution and methodology adherence
Ideal Candidate
Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate in any stream
Experience: 15+ years of experience in Logistics / Supply Chain / GBS environment with strong exposure to transitions, migrations, or process centralization
Certifications (if any): Project Management / Lean / Six Sigma (Preferred)
Knowledge (Domain and IT):
• Strong understanding of logistics domains (Air & Ocean, Ground, Contract Logistics, FVL preferred)
• Experience in transition lifecycle including assessment, design, migration, and stabilization
• Strong stakeholder management across global and regional teams
• Ability to drive structured workshops and validate business requirements
• Understanding of GBS operating models and process centralization
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
