About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Reconciliation Business Analyst (BA) to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in banking reconciliations, hands-on experience with reconciliation platforms (such as Duco, SmartStream TLM, or Intellimatch), and a proven track record of successfully delivering migration initiatives within investment banking or financial services environments. As a Reconciliation BA, you will play a critical role in migrating cash reconciliations from legacy platforms to a strategic reconciliation solution. You will work closely with Operations, IT, Finance, vendors, and program stakeholders to ensure accurate configuration, seamless migration execution, robust testing, and production-ready documentation. This role demands strong analytical capability, detailed understanding of reconciliation logic, and the ability to translate complex legacy processes into scalable, future-ready solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• The Reconciliation Migration Specialist will be responsible for migrating banking cash reconciliations from a legacy platform to the strategic reconciliation solution.
• The role will cover reconciliation development/configuration, migration execution, test support, defect resolution, and production grade technical documentation, working closely with Operations, IT, vendors, and programmed stakeholders.
• Proven experience delivering reconciliation migrations within an investment banking or financial services environment.
• Hands?on delivery experience with reconciliation platforms such as Intellimatch, SmartStream TLM, or equivalent.
• Demonstrable background migrating banking cash reconciliations from legacy or decommissioned platforms.
• Experience across the full delivery lifecycle: migration design, build, testing support, defect resolution, and handover to BAU/support teams.
• Strong exposure to back-office operations, including cash movement, nostro accounts, and settlement processes.
• Experience working in IT change or delivery teams in partnership with Operations and Finance stakeholders.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of reconciliation, configuration and development, including
• Data source and ingestion
• Matching rules and logic
• Break identification and aging
• Except workflows
• Ability to translate legacy reconciliation logic into a new target platform.
• Strong understanding of banking cash data, including statements, transactions, balances, and adjustments.
• Experience supporting
• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Parallel run and migration validation
• Proven ability to investigate and resolve reconciliation defects, including data, logic, and configuration issues.
• Ability to produce high quality technical documentation, including:
• Migration approach and assumptions
• Reconciliation design and rules
• Data mappings
• Testing evidence and defect logs
• Comfortable working with SQL, file-based feeds, and structured data formats (e.g., CSV, XML).
