Fixed Asset Manager Full Time NEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with prior experience in fixed assets accounting. The role involves managing the end-to-end lifecycle of fixed assets, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the fixed assets register (FAR)
Review and capitalize asset additions in accordance with accounting policies
Calculate and record depreciation/amortization as per applicable standards (e.g., Companies Act / Ind AS / IFRS)
Perform periodic asset verification and reconcile physical assets with books
Track asset disposals, write-offs, and transfers, ensuring proper accounting treatment
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets
Prepare schedules and reports for statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits
Monitor capital work-in-progress (CWIP) and ensure timely capitalization
Coordinate with procurement and operations teams for asset tracking and documentation

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting (B.Com, M.Com preferred)
2–5 years of experience in fixed assets accounting
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS preferred)
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally)
