SAP PP/QM Consultant (Manufacturing)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Consultant to support and enhance manufacturing and quality processes. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Production Planning and Quality Management modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning (PP):

• Configure and support SAP PP processes including:
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Production Orders
• Demand Management
• Capacity Planning
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
• Optimize production planning processes for efficiency and accuracy
• Work with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, WM) for integration

Quality Management (QM):

• Configure and manage SAP QM processes including:
• Quality Planning
• Inspection Planning
• Quality Inspection (Incoming, In-process, Final)
• Non-conformance management
• Quality Notifications
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and audit requirements
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

General Responsibilities:

• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, and support projects
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and interfaces
• Perform system testing (Unit Testing, UAT) and support deployments
• Provide end-user training and documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM modules
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes (Discrete/Process Industry)
• Experience in:
• Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Centers)
• Batch Management (preferred)
• Integration with MM, SD, and WM modules
• Debugging ABAP codes, knowledge of Idoc, API, BAPI, BADI and enhancement
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and standard Fiori is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification in PP or QM (preferred)
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation
• Exposure to Industry 4.0 / digital manufacturing solutions/MII is a plus
