Role Summar y:

This position is responsible for managing and maintaining the assets, applications and related infrastructure. The person shall identify, diagnose and rectify any issues with assets, software, services, and applications.

Responsibilities:

• System and Application Management : Install, configure and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Infrastructure Management : Design, deploy, and manage hardware, virtual machines, EPBX, cloud services, network devices like routers and switches.
• Performance and Availability: Proactively monitor systems, network performance, and backups to ensure high levels of availability and performance.
• Security and Compliance : Implement and maintain security measures, such as firewalls and VPNs, and ensure infrastructure adheres to security standards.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure business operations can continue in the event of a disruption.
• Technical Support : Provide escalation support for network/Server issues and offer technical guidance to other IT staff.
• Work with development and security teams to ensure seamless integration and appropriate environments for applications.
• Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Asset Management : Manage assets and its budgets, related software purchases & Inventory.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology/Electronics and Communication/Electrical & Electronics with 5-8 years of related experience
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows Server administration).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and SQL Server and other databases
• Experience working with programing languages Java, C++, ASP.Net is a plus
• Experience managing servers, firewalls, and network configurations
• Strong understanding of virtualisation tools like VMware or Hyper-V
• Skilled in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN setups
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience implementing monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery plans
• Ability to troubleshoot complex performance and connectivity issues
• Good time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
