Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant Cum Office Assistant role based in Srinagar. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks such as recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing basic financial reports, and assisting with invoicing, billing, and expense tracking. The Accountant Cum Office Assistant will manage routine office operations, including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, managing correspondence, and organizing documents and files. Responsibilities also include operating office equipment, coordinating with internal teams, supporting administrative tasks such as scheduling and record-keeping, and ensuring the office environment remains organized and efficient. The role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional who can balance accounting responsibilities with general office support.
Qualifications

• Strong administrative assistance and clerical skills, including filing, data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance.
• Proficient phone etiquette and communication skills for interacting professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to operate common office equipment such as printers, scanners, copiers, and basic office software (email, spreadsheets, word processing).
• Foundational accounting knowledge, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and familiarity with accounting or ERP software.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Srinagar, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
