Job Title: Accountant (SAP experienced)

Location: United Arab Emirates

Experience Required: Minimum 4 years (SAP experience mandatory)

Qualification: Professional Accounting Degree (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with at least 4 years of proven experience in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of local financial regulations, VAT compliance, and accounting best practices, along with a recognized professional accounting qualification.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports

Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, including preparation and filing of VAT returns

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes

Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits

Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and records

Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations

Support management with financial analysis and decision-making

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of accounting experience within the UAE

Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent)

Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational and time management skills

Good communication skills in English
