We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented accounts & tax intern for a 6-month internship under a chartered accountant. The candidate will gain practical exposure in accounting, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance.
Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Assist in preparing and filing GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR)
- Calculate TDS, file returns, and perform reconciliations
- Maintain bookkeeping records and pass accounting entries in Tally/ERP
- Perform bank reconciliations and scrutinize ledgers
- Support statutory and internal audit processes
- Prepare financial statements including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
- Reconcile GST 2B with books of accounts
- Draft responses to income tax and GST notices
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance records are updated
