As an AI Operations Manager within our Core AI and Machine Learning Group, you will be responsible for governing, tracking, and increasing the overall financial effectiveness of the AI platforms, LLMs (internal and external), and AI software used at Tower Research Capital. This role will focus on cost management, cross-platform attribution, and optimization, and in it, you will be responsible for internal token management, attribution, consolidation, reporting, controls, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the firm’s token management, cost attribution, chargeback process; design and implement robust tracking and tagging, across AI usage and tools and all AI platforms and tools.
• Design and implement robust AI cost strategies and governance policies that align with business objectives, including identifying key market trends in token-based pricing and managing project level costs and token budgets
• Develop comprehensive financial reports to track AI spend, communicating cost trends, optimization opportunities, and usage metrics directly to senior stakeholders across Trading and Engineering
• Engage with internal stakeholders to define and support existing cost-efficiency use cases, ensuring that AI tools are utilized without unnecessary financial leakage
• Work with global AI platforms, providers, and enterprise software vendors to review and negotiate contracts including commercials, usage-based pricing, and committed-use discounts along with our Enterprise and Procurement teams.
• Monitor the inbound flow of AI consumption across internal and external LLMs to identify and remediate inefficient usage patterns; lead “Model Routing” and prompt-optimization strategies to reduce cost-per-inference
• Work with all the Regional Support Team to ensure proper L1-Support for all the AI related tools
• Be the escalation point for any major incident on these AI related tools

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the team’s strategies during market hours, which will involve working closely with the team’s traders and with Tower’s Infrastructure and Systems teams
• Operating existing trading strategies.
• Troubleshooting production issues.
• Posting trade analysis on production logs
• Contributing to the design and implementation of applications to enhance reliability and self-correction
• Working with traders to identify new trading opportunities

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Basic knowledge of Linux and shell command-line tools is a must
• Familiarity with programming languages (C/C++ and Python )
• The ability to notice, analyze, and debug problems quickly and effectively
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with trading and the financial markets
