Job Description

Role Purpose

The Configuration co-ordinator is focused on managing and maintaining the Configuration Management System and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
The Configuration Management co-ordinator watches over the integrity of the CMDB and associated libraries.  As an assistant to the Configuration Management Process Manager they report directly to him.

JD For Asset Manager: –

EXP- 1-4 YRS

• • Asset Manager will maintain inventory of above IT assets and provide quarterly reports in the inventory.
  • Collect hardware & software asset inventory manually for assets wherever the tool is not able collect it automatically
  • Maintain up-to-date hardware asset database by automated & manual method with information like configuration details, serial number, asset code, warranty/AMC details etc.
  • Maintain up-to-date software asset database by automated & manual method with information such as installed program / application inventory, versions, licenses / subscription details, registration details and media details etc.
  • Assigning asset code to each asset
  • Automated periodic scan & on-demand scan for the managed hardware & software assets
  • Install New Assets – ensure standard Deloitte images are installed on PCs and Laptops.
  • Weekly and monthly reconciliation of stock / inventory

• Track the changes in configuration of hardware and software through change management process initiate by Deloitte.
• Keep records of surrendered IT assets. HRMS system to get the details of employee exit cases and update the asset master in SharePoint application.
• Conducting quarterly scheduled replacements of end-user laptops at all India level with the help of L2 teams and maintaining up to date records and documentation of the same in the tool
• All Scheduled Expired Laptop which will not be in use has to be finally handed over to Deloitte Administration department in consultation with IT Manager. Wipro will ensure that the data from these assets are wiped off using Deloitte standard data wiping tool before handing over to admin department. WIPRO will not handover such assets directly to end user.
• On yearly basis Asset manager will conduct activity of physical verification of the assets at all onsite location of Deloitte thereby matching the purchase asset register. For all on-call locations, Wipro team will do the asset verification via Email.

• Weekly / Monthly and Quarterly reporting to internal management and customer as per requirement
• Vendor coordination for any new asset delivery & installation
• Pan India coordination with different teams Tool update / activities.
• Vendor – Monthly and Quarterly review with customer
• Keep records (hard copy / soft copy) of IT asset acceptance form i.e. IMACs as proof of asset deployment.

Mandatory Skills: ITIL – IT Hardware Asset Management .
