Business Analyst – fully remote freelance role (multi-year engagement): Top US MNC Full Time NEW

We are hiring Business Analysts to work on active client projects across global enterprises, SaaS companies, and system integrators. These are fully remote, long-term contract / freelance roles, ideal for professionals who can bridge business needs and technology execution across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

You will work closely with clients, product owners, engineering teams, and delivery leaders to translate business requirements into clear, actionable specifications.

Engagement Details

• Type: Independent Freelance Consultant / Contract
• Location: 100% Remote
• Duration: Initial 6–12 month contract (strong extension potential, including multi-year)
• Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeks
• Clients: Global enterprises, SaaS companies, BFSI organizations, and system integrators

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain process flows, use cases, wireframes, and data mappings where required.
• Act as a bridge between business, product, and engineering teams.
• Support backlog creation, grooming, and prioritization with product owners.
• Assist QA teams with test case validation and UAT coordination.
• Support change management, impact analysis, and release planning.
• Ensure requirements traceability across the delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in client discussions, status updates, and solution walkthroughs.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum / SDLC methodologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in distributed environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, client-facing setup.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, data platforms, or custom applications).
• Exposure to digital transformation or system modernization projects.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Lucidchart, Visio, or similar.
• Understanding of data models, APIs, and integrations.
• Domain experience in BFSI, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, or SaaS.
• Prior experience working with global clients or system integrators.
