The Manager – Business Finance (Gross Margin) will be a key finance business partner responsible for owning, analyzing, and improving gross margins across categories. The role will work closely with sourcing, procurement, operations, supply chain, category management, and pricing teams to drive margin expansion through cost optimization, pricing discipline, yield improvement, and waste reduction.

• Own end-to-end gross margin tracking across categories, plants, and regions.
• Analyze drivers of margin movement including raw material costs, yield, wastage, processing costs, logistics, pricing, and discounts.
• Develop detailed margin bridge and variance analysis (actual vs budget / forecast).
• Act as a finance partner to sourcing, procurement, category, and operations teams.
• Support pricing decisions by providing margin impact analysis and scenario modeling.
• Collaborate with category teams on product-level profitability, SKU rationalization, and mix optimization.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction across procurement, processing, logistics, and packaging.
• Track yields, waste, shrinkage, and plant efficiencies; highlight leakages and recommend corrective actions.
• Support initiatives related to vendor negotiations, alternate sourcing, and process improvements.
• Lead gross margin planning during AOP, budget, and forecast cycles.
• Build and maintain robust margin models at category, SKU, and plant level.
• Monitor execution against plans and flag risks/opportunities in a timely manner.

• CA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.
• 4+ years of experience in Business Finance
• Strong exposure to gross margin management in FMCG, food processing, QSR, retail, or e commerce.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or supply-chain-intensive businesses preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with deep understanding of cost structures.
• Hands-on experience with margin modeling, pricing analysis, and variance analysis.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
• High ownership mindset with strong attention to detail.
