Role Description The Business Head – Orissa will oversee end-to-end business operations for the Orissa region, focusing on revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion. This full-time, on-site role, based in Bengaluru, will involve regular coordination with regional teams, frequent travel to stores in Orissa, and close collaboration with senior leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing regional sales and growth strategies, planning and monitoring store performance, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets and KPIs. The role will manage regional store leadership, drive staff productivity, oversee training needs, and ensure adherence to operational standards, visual merchandising guidelines, and customer service excellence. The Business Head will also analyze market trends and competitor activity, manage budgets and promotions, optimize inventory and supply chain for the region, and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in multi-store or regional retail leadership, preferably in consumer electronics, telecom.
• Strong expertise in sales strategy, business development, and P&L management at a regional or state level.
• Demonstrated ability in team leadership, performance management, and developing high-performing regional teams.
• Solid skills in data analysis, forecasting, and using metrics to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
• Comfort with fast-paced, growth-oriented environments and willingness to travel frequently within the Orissa region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Prior experience managing operations for a specific state or region and exposure to omni-channel retail will be highly beneficial.
