Category Manager — Women’s Western Wear Full Time NEW

We are building an amazing AI-led Fashion brand and are looking for rockstars to power this rocketship across different positions.

About the job:

This role owns Women’s Western Wear at Uniq You, end-to-end — from spotting what’s trending to ensuring designs are production-ready. You will sit at the intersection of fashion, data, and execution, translating market demand into a strong, sellable collection — fast. So its a super bonus, if you are a Fashion Designer who loves the hustle + managing end to end functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Category Ownership

• Own the Women’s Western Wear category P&L — assortment, pricing, margin, sell-through
• Build the seasonal range plan and defend it with data
• Course-correct in-season without waiting to be told

2. Trend & Market Intelligence

• Track fashion trends across runway, social, competitors, and street
• Translate signal into specific product calls — not moodboards
• Spot what’s emerging two weeks before the market catches on

3. Cross-Functional Execution

• Work closely with design, sourcing, and production to move ideas from concept to production-ready
• Align stakeholders and remove blockers between teams
• Ensure timelines and quality bars are met

4. New Launches

• Own new sub-category and collection launches end-to-end
• Research, plan, execute, iterate — without a playbook

What We’re Looking For:

“Simply put – we need you if you are someone who gets supercharged working around & in Fashion, creating, spotting & managing and moderating a category end to end”

• Atleast 2 years in category, merchandising, or buying at a fashion brand or D2C
• Strong fashion sense paired with hard commercial instincts
• High ownership — doesn’t wait for the next review to raise a flag
• Clear communicator (written + verbal)
