Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Civil position located in Bhopal at People’s University. The primary responsibilities include teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate civil engineering students, conducting research to foster innovation, and contributing to departmental and institutional development. Additionally, the role involves curriculum development, engaging in academic administration, and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects that advance the objectives of the university’s engineering and research programs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Civil Engineering topics, including Structural Analysis, Geotechnical Engineering, and Construction Practices
• Strong skills in Research and Development, Project Management, and Use of CAD and other relevant software tools
• Experience in teaching, curriculum design, and academic administration
• Excellent communication, presentation, and student mentoring capabilities
• Ability to initiate and contribute to interdisciplinary projects or collaborations
• PhD or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven track record of published research or industry-relevant experience in Civil Engineering
• Commitment to fostering student success and promoting diversity in education
