Shift Schedule: 2 pm to 11 pm IST

Location: Pune, Kharadi

Job Brief:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Content Editor to join our growing editorial team at a fast-paced B2B tech media publication TechResearch . The ideal candidate is not just a skilled editor but also someone who brings a newsroom mindset—fast, accurate, and tech-savvy. You will play a key role in developing, editing, and optimizing content across multiple formats including news articles, blogs, white papers, case studies, and more.

A strong understanding of US English, B2B technology, and the nuances of journalistic writing is essential. Experience in a media or publishing environment with a focus on timely, insightful tech coverage is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Write and edit breaking tech news, company announcements, funding updates, and industry insights with a focus on B2B sectors like Martech, Fintech, SaaS, AI, DeepTech, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation. Maintain editorial agility to cover emerging stories and trends quickly and accurately.
• Content Strategy: Collaborate with the editorial team to plan and execute editorial content strategies that balance long-form content with news reporting and trend analysis. Ensure the content aligns with business goals and resonates with our target audience.
• Editing & Proofreading: Review, fact-check, and refine content from in-house and freelance writers, ensuring clarity, consistency, and adherence to the publication’s tone, style, and standards.
• SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to improve content visibility and engagement, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
• Project Management: Oversee content calendars, manage deadlines, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely content delivery.
• Research & Trend Analysis: Stay up to date with the latest developments in the tech world, from funding rounds to product launches and policy updates. Surface story ideas based on data, reports, analyst insights, and press releases.
• Content Distribution: Work closely with the marketing team to publish and promote content across channels including newsletters, LinkedIn, and content syndication platforms.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze editorial content performance and use insights to iterate and improve future content strategies.

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of experience in journalism, editorial, or content marketing, preferably in B2B tech media or digital publishing.
• Solid grasp of tech and innovation trends across enterprise and startup ecosystems.
• Strong writing and editing skills with impeccable grammar, attention to detail, and the ability to shift between news-style and content marketing tone.
• Experience with SEO, including on-page optimization, keyword research, and performance tracking.
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, and tools such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, Marketing & Advertising, or related field.
