Job description:
Position: CS Trainee
Location: Kormangala, Bangalore
Role Summary
The CS Trainee will assist the Company Secretary’s office in ensuring compliance with corporate laws, maintaining statutory records, and supporting various secretarial and governance functions. This role provides hands-on exposure to corporate filings, board processes, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Secretarial Compliance
Assist in preparing and filing various forms, returns, and documents with MCA.
Support in drafting Board Meeting and General Meeting notices, agendas, and minutes.
Help maintain statutory registers and records as per Companies Act, 2013.
2. Corporate Governance Support
Assist in organizing Board, Committee, and Shareholder meetings.
Coordinate with directors for signature, documentation, and timely approvals.
Prepare MIS reports related to secretarial activities.
3. Regulatory Filings
Support in filing event-based and annual compliances.
Assist in ROC filings, XBRL filings, and other regulatory submissions.
4. Documentation & Drafting
Draft resolutions, meeting minutes, compliance notes, and routine correspondence.
Maintain proper documentation, physical and electronic records.
5. Coordination & Liaison
Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
Assist in responding to queries from stakeholders related to compliance matters.
6. Research & Interpretation
Conduct research on Companies Act, SEBI Regulations, FEMA, and other corporate laws.
Update internal teams on regulatory changes and compliance implications.
Skills & Competencies
Good understanding of corporate and compliance laws.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
