1. Role Overview
We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to provide technical and field support for semiconductor manufacturing and automation equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, machine maintenance, installation, and customer support activities for semiconductor process equipment. Candidates should have hands-on experience in automation-based manufacturing systems and strong problem-solving capabilities. 3. Required Qualifications 4. - Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and customer support for semiconductor equipment at customer locations
- Perform installation, commissioning, and startup activities for equipment
- Troubleshoot machine issues and implement corrective actions
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues
- Support machine calibration and performance optimization
- Handle field service activities and customer issue resolution
- Maintain service reports and technical documentation
- Coordinate with engineering and service teams for escalation support
- Support process improvement and machine efficiency initiatives
- Train customers on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures
- Ensure timely communication and support delivery to customers
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related Engineering disciplines
- 2 6 years of experience in semiconductor equipment support, field service, or automation systems
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment involving advanced automation preferred
