Cyber Security Analyst (6+ Years, Bangalore, Hybrid) Full Time

We’re Hiring | Cyber Security Analyst — Xponentium

Location: Bangalore | Hybrid (3 days/week)

Experience: 6–9 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 21 Days preferred

We are looking for a hands-on Cyber Security Analyst / Security Lead with expertise on Infrastructure/Server Security

What We’re Looking For:

• 6–9 years of experience in cybersecurity with strong infrastructure security background
• Hands-on expertise in Windows server security and control validation
• Strong understanding of network security fundamentals (segmentation, firewall rules, access control)
• Experience in legacy system risk management and compensating controls
• Working knowledge of Azure security services (VNet, NSG, Azure Firewall, Bastion, Monitor, Sentinel, Defender, Backup)
• Strong analytical skills with ability to manage complex, legacy environments
• Proven ownership mindset with experience in cross-team collaboration

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Linux, SQL, Oracle, middleware, or application servers
• Understanding of threat intelligence and risk-based prioritization
• Experience with audit-ready documentation and governance frameworks

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (or equivalent)
• Relevant certifications in Cyber Security, Cloud Security, or Risk Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform infrastructure and Windows server security hardening
• Own legacy platform risk management and implement compensating controls
• Drive security governance, control validation, and implementation tracking
• Analyze assets from a risk and control perspective across environments
• Create and execute security control designs, playbooks, and validation frameworks
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, SOC, and Application teams for execution planning
• Ensure backup, recovery, and resilience controls for critical workloads
