About the Role

The Cyber Security Analyst (Entry Level) will assist in monitoring, analyzing, and securing organizational systems, networks, and applications against cyber threats. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates who are eager to build a career in cybersecurity and gain practical experience in security operations and threat analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor systems and networks for suspicious activities and security incidents.
• Analyze security logs and investigate potential threats or vulnerabilities.
• Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and security audits.
• Support incident response and remediation activities.
• Help implement cybersecurity policies, controls, and best practices.
• Research emerging cyber threats, malware, and attack techniques.
• Prepare security reports and maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Students, freshers, or recent graduates in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and threat analysis.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of networking and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of firewalls, phishing, malware, encryption, and endpoint security.
• Understanding of security monitoring and incident response basics.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Splunk, or Kali Linux.
• Basic understanding of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
• Knowledge of SIEM tools and SOC operations is a plus.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python or Bash is an advantage.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

• Stipend: Up to ₹25,000.
