Role Objective
The Dairy Nutrition Research Lead will drive cattle feed R&D initiatives, develop innovative nutritional solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product effectiveness and field performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning & Research
- Drive cattle feed R&D initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Conduct pan-India market surveys on feed performance
- Review scientific literature and identify innovation opportunities
2. Execution & Development
- Develop new feed solutions through product and process innovation
- Evaluate feed performance and recommend improvements
- Plan and execute research trials at cattle farms
- Disseminate research findings and support implementation
3. Collaboration & Support
- Collaborate with Nutrition, Technical, and Sales teams
- Provide technical support on field and commercial challenges
- Conduct internal capability-building and training programs
4. Leadership & Team Management
- Manage research projects and ensure timely delivery
- Foster innovation, scientific rigor, and a high-performance culture
Qualifications & Experience
- Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition (Mandatory)
- 05 years of experience in dairy/cattle nutrition research
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of cattle nutrition
- Understanding of dairy industry trends
- Research and analytical capability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Leadership and problem-solving abilities
