Deputy General Manager – Maintenance Full Time

Managing and leading a team of engineers and technicians, overseeing and executing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. Enhance equipment lifecycle and efficiency, focusing on cost reduction and budget management. Ensuring compliance with quality & safety standards and processes is crucial, along with conducting root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Work with internal departments and external vendors to maintain smooth operations and address any issues promptly.

Key Responsibility Areas

Technical /Functional

• Managing and leading a team of engineers and technicians: Ensure effective team management and leadership to maintain smooth operations.
• Overseeing and executing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance: Plan and monitor maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Enhancing equipment lifecycle and efficiency: Focus on optimizing equipment performance and extending its lifespan.
• Ensuring compliance with quality & Safety standards and processes: Maintain adherence to quality & Safety management systems and relevant standards.
• Working with internal departments and external vendors: Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
• Supervising the installation and commissioning of electrical systems: Ensure dependable operation of electrical systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults: Implement corrective actions to meet MTTR, MTBF, and quality targets.
• Ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards: Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
• Optimizing system performance: Enhance electrical control systems to boost machine and equipment performance.
• Maintaining documentation: Update documentation and schematics for electrical systems.
• Staying updated with industry advancements: Keep up to date with emerging technologies and trends.
• Ensuring PM and PDM schedules are met Review and optimize yearly PM tasks for effective manpower use.
• Preparing and managing the maintenance budget: Ensure budget adherence.
• Ordering and maintaining spare parts inventory: Keep inventory levels within agreed limits.
• Maintaining Backup, Bypass, Quick changeover (BBQ) systems: Ensure readiness for constraint machines.
• Identifying and addressing constraints: Fix issues with root cause identification and implement continuous improvement ideas.

Prerequires

• In-depth knowledge & Experience in PLC (OMRON, SIEMENS), HMI, SERVO, VFD, Robot (Fanuc, ABB or Kuka), VISON System (Keyence and Cognex) Programming & Troubleshooting.
• Deep knowledge of Industrial communication Protocols like Profinet, Ethernet, Profibus, Ether cat
• In-depth knowledge in vision applications (Pattern identification, OCR Detection, Filter implementation on Raw image)
• Indepth Knowledge Mixing and Powder Delivery Systems automation.

TPM

• Clear Understanding of TPM Concepts.

IT Skills

• Hands on experience in MES/SAP systems.
• Computer Proficiency (MS Excel, Power point).
• Good presentation skills.

Knowledge Generic

Mandatory Desired: 15 years to 20 years in Lithium-ion cell manufacturing industry, Pharma, Chocolate, Candy, Ice-cream, Tyre, Paper
