Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a Development Manager at The SM Records Ltd. The Development Manager will focus on identifying and establishing partnerships with artists, labels, and content creators. They will oversee business growth strategies, manage client relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement development plans. Additionally, the role involves researching industry trends, identifying new business opportunities, and representing the company in external engagements with partners and clients globally.
Qualifications
- Strong business development, relationship management, and partnership-building skills
- Experience with strategic planning, market research, and industry trend analysis
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities
- Familiarity with digital music distribution platforms and rights-management systems
- Proficiency in project management and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Passion for music, a strong understanding of the music industry, and a commitment to supporting creators
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Music Industry, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in the music industry or digital distribution is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
