Supply Chain Director Full Time NEW

Job Purpose:

Responsible for effective management of the entire supply chain functions that include Vendor Management, Tendering, Procurement, Contract, and Inventory Management.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with our factories and suppliers, ensuring a continuous long term partnership
• Oversee all purchase orders, adjust purchase patterns, and monitor shipment and production schedules to meet Responsibilities
• Evaluate vendor performance to ensure lowest cost, highest quality, and timely deliveries
• Managing the contracts to assure that legal and other requirements are met prior to authorization of payment.
• Negotiate the contracts and agreements through interaction with potential vendors/consultants.
• Recommend settlement of Contract claims and proposals in contract termination actions.
• Examine and evaluate contract price proposals and financial reports to determine reasonable pricing and other contractual requirements.
• Replace the existing inventory management system with a more efficient one, easing procurement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years’ of supply chain experience
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
