ER Specialist, Employee Experience and Relations (EXR) Full Time

INOPS ER team is part of the Global Employee Relations vertical within Amazon, and works closely with the Field People eXperience and Technology (PXT / HR) teams and Operations teams in advising and enabling them to provide a seamless employee and associate experience. Our network of drivers and delivery service providers is growing rapidly, and to support this growth we are looking forward to ER Specialists to join the Employee Relations team.

We are looking for candidates with who possess communication and interpersonal skills that let them communicate with ease, across levels from shop floor employees to senior leaders. The role will set in motion and numerous programs that develop and nurture a positive work environment, and advancing our work towards being the earth’s best employer.

The central objective of this role is to ensure we sustain positive ER climate at our buildings and ensure fair, respectful, and consistent experience for people. The individual will be responsible to drive agenda of creating a positive driver relations climate that supports safety, capability, engagement and a high performance, customer-obsessed culture. The candidate will possess the ability to complete high volumes of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision and deadline sensitivity. You’ll operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to building scalable mechanisms that strengthen the driver experience across Amazon India’s last-mile network.

Key job responsibilities

• Problem Solve: Work independently with minimal supervision, in ambiguous situations, and persevere over internal and external barriers to drive resolutions. Analyze, diagnose, design, and revise people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations
• Leverage a deep understanding for the breadth of experience / morale drivers to prioritize programs and investments that will measurably improve ER climate within last mile cohorts.
• Work across program, product and tech teams to design and drive impacting initiatives and implement mechanisms to continuously improve the LM experience.
• Analyze and Interpret Data: Exercise analytical skills using data and anecdotes to develop persuasive narratives and recommendations; demonstrated ability to define and measure success of programs. Design, collect, and analyze multiple levels of employee feedback
• Connect with associates on ground to understand their experience in terms of what’s working well and what needs improvement. Identify the issues / concerns that need to be resolved.
• Partner with business to find out the best solutions and actions to close loop.
• Lead business reviews to drive focus
• Should be able to travel to sites inter/intracity for driving proactive listening mechanisms.
• Lead the ER capability building agenda for respective business/PXT teams to enable positive ER climate at the sites.
• Collaborate with OTR (On The Road) stakeholders to drive engagement initiatives that improve experience

Basic Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, HR, or a related field
• 2+ years of HR experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation
• Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
• Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
• Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
