Job Description: IT & EDP Assistant Manager

*Role:* IT & EDP Assistant Manager

* Job Summary * Are you an IT professional with hands-on experience in manufacturing systems, ERP support, and EDP operations? This is your opportunity to manage and streamline our IT infrastructure, handle daily electronic data processing, and ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations on our production shop floor.
*Key Responsibilities*
1. IT Infrastructure Management
* Oversee and manage plant IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, firewalls, and CCTV systems.
* Implement robust data security measures, regular backups, and timely system updates.
2. EDP & ERP Operations
* Handle Electronic Data Processing (EDP) operations, including production data entry, validations, and generating Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.
* Provide functional support for ERP modules across key departments: Production, Inventory, QA (Quality Assurance), and Dispatch.
3. Shop Floor & Production Support
* Ensure seamless operation of IT systems on the manufacturing shop floor, including scanners, terminals, and barcode systems.
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
Qualifications & Skills
*Education:* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Electronics.
*Experience:* 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (prior experience handling IT systems within a *manufacturing environment* is strongly preferred).
*Technical Skills:* Knowledge of networking, hardware troubleshooting, ERP systems, and data management.
*Soft Skills:* Strong troubleshooting capabilities, problem-solving mindset, and excellent coordination skills.
