Finance Controller – AKPL Full Time NEW

• Lead preparation, consolidation, review and finalization of annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets; ensure timely approvals and conduct periodic budget reviews.
• Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual revenue, cost and profitability performance; identify variances and recommend corrective actions to management.
• Provide financial evaluation and decision support to the business for capital expenditure proposals and investment decisions.
• Ensure timely preparation and circulation of monthly MIS and coordinate financial performance reviews with business stakeholders.
• Oversee preparation, analysis and review of financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Analyze expenses, receivables and working capital trends; recommend and drive corrective measures for operational efficiency.
• Manage cash flows, liquidity position and short-term investment decisions to optimize returns and ensure adequate funding.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit observations and continuously strengthen internal financial controls and processes.
• Ensure completion of statutory audits within defined timelines and take appropriate actions on audit observations.
• Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory compliances including Service Tax / GST, EPCG obligations and other applicable laws.
• Lead, coach and motivate the finance team through effective communication, performance management and capability building.
• Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes and adopt modern financial systems and technologies aligned with business requirements.

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

Relevant Experience

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts
• Experience in handling end-to-end finance operations in a large organization or infrastructure / port setup
• Strong exposure to balance sheet finalization, statutory audits and regulatory compliances
