1. Prepare, maintain, and regularly update financial forecasts covering all fixed costs (rent, salaries, depreciation, insurance, contractual minimums) and variable costs (raw materials, freight, commissions, utilities) in line with active contracts.
2. Review vendor and customer contracts to extract pricing terms, escalation clauses, payment schedules, and volume commitments, and translate these into the forecasting model.
3. Track incoming new orders daily, updating revenue projections, expected margins, and resource/cost implications accordingly.
4. Maintain a live vendor liabilities register – open POs, accrued liabilities, payment due dates, and aging – and reconcile it against the general ledger and AP records.
5. Build and maintain rolling forecasts (weekly/monthly/quarterly) and variance analyses comparing actuals vs. forecast vs. budget, with clear commentary on drivers.
6. Flag risks early: contract renewals, price escalations, cost overruns, vendor concentration, cash flow gaps, and margin erosion on new orders.
7. Coordinate with procurement, sales/order management, and AP teams to ensure data accuracy and timely capture of new commitments.
8. Prepare dashboards and reports for management covering cost run-rates, order book health, vendor exposure, and forecast accuracy.
9. Support the month-end close with accruals, prepayments, and cost allocations tied to contractual terms.
10. Assist in budgeting, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis (e.g., FX impact, commodity price changes, demand shifts).
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. have minimum 1 years of experience
1. Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, including driver-based and rolling forecast techniques.
2. Advanced Excel (complex formulas, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, Power Query, what-if analysis); working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools.
3. Ability to read and interpret commercial contracts — pricing schedules, payment terms, indexation, penalty clauses.
4. Familiarity with cost accounting, contribution margin analysis, and unit economics.
5. Working knowledge of SQL is a strong plus for pulling data directly from order and vendor databases.
6. Sharp attention to detail and high accuracy when handling large volumes of transactional and contractual data.
7. Strong variance analysis skills – ability to explain the “why” behind numbers, not just the “what.”
8. Comfort with ambiguity and the judgment to make reasonable forecasting assumptions when data is incomplete.
9. Discipline to maintain daily routines (order updates, liability reconciliations) without slippage.
10. Clear written and verbal communication
11. Ownership mindset – proactively flags issues rather than waiting to be asked.
12. Time management and ability to handle multiple deliverables (daily, weekly, and monthly cycles).
13. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or commerce; CA / CMA / CPA / CFA / MBA-Finance preferred.
14. 1-2 years of experience in FP&A, cost analysis, or commercial finance
