Our Client, is a top-tier global management consulting firm is seeking a Procurement Consultant with strong expertise in healthcare or hospital procurement and cost transformation initiatives. The consultant will work closely with hospital leadership, supply chain teams, and stakeholders to optimize procurement operations, drive cost efficiencies, improve vendor management, and support strategic sourcing initiatives across clinical and non-clinical categories.
Key Responsibilities-
- Lead procurement and cost transformation initiatives for hospitals or healthcare organizations.
- Manage sourcing and procurement of surgical items, medical consumables, equipment, and healthcare-related categories.
- Analyze procurement spend, identify savings opportunities, and implement cost optimization strategies.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management plans.
- Drive vendor evaluation, supplier negotiations, contracting, and relationship management.
- Collaborate with clinical, operations, finance, and supply chain stakeholders to improve procurement effectiveness.
- Assess procurement processes and recommend operational improvements and best practices.
- Support procurement transformation programs, including process redesign and policy implementation.
- Conduct benchmarking, market analysis, and procurement analytics to support decision-making.
- Work with leadership teams on procurement strategy, inventory optimization, and supply chain efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and healthcare regulations.

Duration- 3 Months (5 Days working, flexible to work on Saturday)
Location- Kochi, Kerala (Open to candidates from any location. Travel expenses to the work location will be covered by the client.)
Skills Required-
- Strong experience in healthcare or hospital procurement.
- Expertise in surgical procurement, medical consumables, and clinical sourcing categories.
- Experience in hospital cost transformation and procurement strategy projects.
- Strong strategic sourcing and category management capabilities.
- Vendor management and contract negotiation expertise.

- Experience in consulting engagements or transformation projects is highly preferred.
