Role – Global Head of Procurement – ITES
Position Overview
The Global Head of Procurement will lead the organization’s procurement strategy across geographies, ensuring cost efficiency, supplier reliability, and compliance with global standards. This role is pivotal in driving value creation, sustainability, and innovation in sourcing for ITES operations, including technology, infrastructure, and services.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute global procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Drive transformation initiatives in procurement processes, leveraging digital tools and analytics.
- Supplier Management:
- Establish and nurture strategic supplier partnerships across IT, telecom, facilities, and professional services.
- Negotiate global contracts ensuring competitive pricing, service quality, and risk mitigation.
Operational Excellence:
- Standardize procurement policies, processes, and compliance frameworks across regions.
- Implement best practices in vendor evaluation, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
- Cost Optimization & Value Creation:
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Lead initiatives in sustainable sourcing and ESG compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with CXOs, business unit leaders, and finance teams to align procurement with organizational priorities.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to the board on procurement performance and risks.
Candidate Profile
• Education: MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
Experience:
• 15+ years in procurement/supply chain, with at least 5 years in a global leadership role.
• Proven track record in ITES, BPM , IT services, or technology-driven industries.
Skills:
• Strong negotiation and contract management expertise.
• Knowledge of global procurement regulations and compliance.
• Ability to lead multicultural teams across geographies.
• Proficiency in digital procurement platforms and analytics
