Global Salesforce DevOps & Release Manager (Based in Hyderabad, India) Full Time NEW

The Global Salesforce DevOps & Release Manager will be responsible for defining, implementing, and governing the end-to-end DevOps and release management strategy across a complex Salesforce landscape consisting of multiple instances. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, development lifecycle, DevOps & release processes to manage complex projects across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in Salesforce DevOps and release and be able to drive innovation while ensuring system reliability and performance.

This role will ensure consistent, scalable, and high-quality delivery of changes across all environments while establishing best practices, improving deployment efficiency, and reducing risk.

DevOps Strategy & Governance:

• Define and implement a global DevOps strategy for Salesforce across all regions.
• Establish standardized processes, frameworks, and governance models.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD best practices and automation.
• Ensure alignment between regional teams and global standards.

Release Management

• Own the global release calendar across multiple Salesforce instances.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all releases (major, minor, emergency).
• Implement structured release processes (e.g., versioning, branching strategies).
• Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during deployments.

Environment Management

• Oversee all Salesforce environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod).
• Define environment strategy, including refresh schedules and usage policies.
• Ensure data integrity and environment stability.

Tools & Automation

• Evaluate, implement, and manage DevOps tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, version control systems).
• Drive automation of build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitor and improve deployment performance metrics (e.g., failure rates, lead time).

Quality & Risk Management

• Establish release quality gates and validation processes.
• Ensure robust rollback and contingency planning.
• Manage risks associated with deployments and environment changes.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with regional Salesforce teams, developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Act as the central point of coordination for global releases.
• Provide clear communication on release schedules, risks, and outcomes.

Compliance & Security

• Ensure all processes meet internal governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper change management documentation and audit trails.
• Enforce security best practices in deployment pipelines.

Continuous Improvement

• Track and report on DevOps KPIs (deployment frequency, MTTR, change failure rate).
• Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements.
• Promote a DevOps culture across distributed teams.
• Mentor and coach junior team members; foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the Salesforce practice..

What we are looking for:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Engineering / Master’s Degree in Computer Applications.
• Certifications: Salesforce (Admin, Developer, DevOps).

Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Salesforce-related architecture or DevOps, with at least 7 years in a senior or lead role. Proven experience in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions on a global scale with multi-cloud instances
• Knowledge of Healthcare processes, regulations and trends
• Hands-on Expertise in DevOps Tools—AutoRabit, Github, VSCode, SF Code Analysis, Security Remediation
• Strong knowledge in SF Landscape and surrounding systems.
• Leadership skills with internal & external resources
• Problem-solving & troubleshooting skills with a high attention to detail
