A well-established manufacturing group is looking for a senior finance professional to lead its group finance function. The hiring company’s identity will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
About the Role
The Group Finance Controller will head the entire finance and accounts function across the manufacturing parent company and its marketing subsidiaries. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures for all group entities — standalone and consolidated
- Managing inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and transfer pricing between the parent and subsidiaries
- Leading statutory compliance across all entities — GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC, Companies Act
- Driving costing, MIS, and management reporting that gives a true view of group performance
- Managing working capital, banking relationships, and treasury across entities
- Partnering with auditors — statutory, internal, tax, and cost
- Building and leading a finance team of 12–20 across HO, plants, and subsidiary offices
- Acting as a financial thought partner to the MD on commercial and strategic decisions
What we’re looking for
- Chartered Accountant (CA) — mandatory
- CMA / ICWA — strongly preferred
- Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience, with at least 6–8 years in manufacturing
- Hands-on experience in multi-entity accounting, consolidation, and inter-company reconciliations — non-negotiable
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, and transfer pricing
- ERP experience — MS Dynamics / Tally Prime
- Proven track record of leading finance teams and building processes from the ground up
- Articleship/early career with a Big 4 or reputed mid-tier firm — preferred
Location: Gurugram, Haryana (with periodic travel to plants and subsidiary offices)
Compensation: Best-in-industry, commensurate with experience
