Hardware & Network Engineer Full Time NEW

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hardware Management

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
• Diagnose and repair hardware issues (motherboard, RAM, HDD/SSD, SMPS, etc.)
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades of systems

2. Network Management

• Set up and manage LAN/WAN networks
• Configure routers, switches, and firewalls
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues

3. Software & System Support

• Install and update operating systems (Windows/Linux)
• Install required software and ensure proper licensing
• Handle system backups and data recovery

4. User Support (IT Helpdesk)

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware/software issues
• Resolve login, email, printer, and network-related problems
• Maintain IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution

5. Security Management

• Implement antivirus and endpoint security solutions
• Monitor systems for security threats and vulnerabilities
• Manage user access and permissions

6. Inventory & Documentation

• Maintain records of IT assets (systems, accessories, licenses)
• Track AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and warranties
• Prepare reports on system performance and issues

7. Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, purchases, and upgrades
• Ensure timely service and cost control

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Familiarity with routers, switches, and firewalls
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and user-handling ability

Qualification:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA A+, or Network+ (preferred)

Experience:

• 1–5 years (depending on role level)
