About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Infrastructure Leader to head enterprise-wide IT Infrastructure operations for a fast-growing financial services organization. The role requires strong expertise in banking/NBFC infrastructure environments, infrastructure automation, optimization, scalability, and branch infrastructure management across multiple locations.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on and leadership experience in managing large-scale infrastructure ecosystems, driving modernization initiatives, ensuring high availability, and enabling secure and scalable IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage enterprise IT Infrastructure operations across HO, branches, and data centers
- Drive Infrastructure Automation, Optimization, and Transformation initiatives
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of infrastructure environments
- Manage and optimize:
- Servers
- Storage
- Network Infrastructure
- Virtualization
- Cloud Infrastructure
- Endpoint Management
- Handle large-scale branch infrastructure operations across geographically distributed locations
- Drive IT governance, compliance, DR, BCP, and security best practices
- Collaborate with business, application, security, and operations teams for seamless infrastructure delivery
- Manage vendors, OEMs, and strategic technology partners
- Monitor infrastructure KPIs, SLA adherence, uptime, and operational efficiency
- Lead infrastructure modernization and cost optimization initiatives
- Build and mentor high-performing infrastructure teams
Required Skills & Experience
- 12–17 years of overall IT Infrastructure experience
- Strong experience in Banking / NBFC / Financial Services domain is mandatory
- Proven expertise in:
- Infrastructure Automation
- Infrastructure Optimization
- Enterprise Infrastructure Management
- Branch Infrastructure Management
- Experience handling large-scale distributed infrastructure environments
- Strong understanding of:

- Cloud Platforms
- Network & Security Infrastructure

- Monitoring & ITSM Tools
- Experience managing infrastructure transformation projects
- Strong stakeholder and leadership management skills
Preferred Background
- Candidates from Banking, NBFC, Financial Services, or FinTech organizations preferred
- Experience managing infrastructure for large branch networks will be a strong advantage
- Exposure to automation tools and modern infrastructure practices preferred
