Job Brief
We are looking for a smart, creative, and growth-focused leader to join our team as a Marketing & E-Commerce Head for our FMCG business in the biscuits and confectionery segment.
In this role, you will lead both brand marketing and e-commerce growth across online and offline channels. You will be responsible for building strong brand visibility, driving digital and online sales, planning marketing campaigns, improving customer engagement, and growing the company’s market presence.
This is a leadership role for someone who understands the FMCG industry, consumer behavior, digital marketing, and modern e-commerce platforms. You should have strong experience in brand building, online marketplace management, and driving profitable growth across platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, and D2C channels.

Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Growth
- Develop and execute the overall marketing and brand growth strategy.
- Build strong brand positioning in the biscuits and confectionery category.
- Plan and manage ATL, BTL, digital, and trade marketing activities.
- Drive customer awareness, engagement, and loyalty initiatives.
- Launch new products and support product expansion strategies.
- Create quarterly and annual marketing plans with clear growth targets.
E-Commerce Strategy & Online Sales Growth
- Develop and execute the company’s e-commerce growth strategy.
- Drive online sales across:
- Amazon, Flipkart, and other marketplaces
- Quick commerce platforms
- Modern trade online channels
- D2C website and app
- Identify new online business opportunities and growth channels.
- Improve customer acquisition, retention, and repeat purchases.
Digital Marketing & Online Visibility
- Lead digital marketing campaigns across social media, search, and online platforms.
- Improve online visibility through:
- Sponsored ads
- SEO and search optimization
- Banner placements
- Better product content and creatives
- Influencer and social media marketing
- Increase customer engagement and conversion rates.
- Track campaign performance and optimize ROI.
Marketplace & Channel Management
- Build strong relationships with e-commerce partners and account managers.
- Manage product listings, pricing, promotions, and stock availability.
- Negotiate commercial terms, visibility plans, and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Commercial & P&L Management
- Manage marketing budgets and e-commerce business P&L.
- Monitor sales performance, margins, trade spends, and ROI.
- Improve pricing effectiveness and channel profitability.
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining brand value.
Supply Chain & Operations Coordination
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams for smooth deliveries.
- Ensure high product availability across all channels.
- Reduce stock-outs and expiry-related losses.
- Improve online order fulfillment and customer experience.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor key business KPIs such as:
- Revenue growth
- Brand awareness
- Market share
- Conversion rates
- Customer acquisition
- Repeat purchases
- ROI
- Fill rates
- Use sales and consumer data to generate actionable business insights.
Team Leadership
- Build, guide, and motivate the marketing and e-commerce teams.
- Work closely with sales, finance, IT, product, and supply chain teams.
- Drive a strong growth-oriented and performance-focused culture.
Qualifications
Education
- MBA in Marketing, Sales, Digital Marketing, or E-Commerce preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field.
Experience
- 10–18+ years of experience in FMCG marketing, brand management, or e-commerce.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience managing e-commerce or digital business for FMCG brands.
- Strong exposure to biscuits, confectionery, snacks, or packaged food categories preferred.
- Proven experience in brand building, digital campaigns, and online revenue growth.

- Strong understanding of FMCG marketing and e-commerce ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing and quick commerce operations.
