Jr. Merchandiser Full Time NEW

Job Purpose:
To assist the Merchandising Team in managing daily merchandising operations, sample development, production follow-ups, and client communications for various buyers in the home textile segment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Merchandising Support:
• Assist Senior Merchandisers in communicating with clients to understand their requirements and preferences.
• Follow up with the merchandising team on their daily work and tasks.
• Sample Development:
• Coordinate the development of product samples, including sourcing materials, trims, and accessories.
• Ensure samples meet buyer specifications and are ready for presentation.
• Production Coordination:
• Monitor production schedules to ensure timely execution of orders.
• Coordinate with design, production, and quality control teams to resolve any delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate production documents, including purchase orders, production schedules, and shipping documents.
• Supplier & Vendor Coordination:
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors to track order status and resolve production-related issues.
• Assist in price negotiations to ensure competitive costs and maintain profit margins.
• Market & Trend Analysis:
• Conduct market research to identify trends, new products, and opportunities in the home textile industry.
• Administrative Support:
• Provide administrative assistance to the merchandising team, including data entry, filing, and document organization.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP/production systems is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in home textiles or apparel.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Fashion, Commerce, or related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 – ₹45,000.00 per month
